We know Dartmouth very well thanks to family, and this is the best place we’ve ever stayed in! Spent 5 nights in July with our 2 kids, the house is beautifully furnished and the main bedroom felt like a 5*hotel room!!
Very close to the centre of Dartmouth and felt lovely to come back to after long, tiring days out! Will definitely book again when we come back to Dartmouth.
Thank you Nicola for being the most amazing holiday house owner. Nothing was too much hassle when I kept texting asking questions. The house was just as the photos and descriptions show. It was a 7 minute walk to spectacular views. It was a perfect house for four of us. Definitely wear trainers for the walking and hills. It was a lovely week for us and our 2 teens.
Had a lovely couple of days at Midships, the house is great, comfy beds and cosy sitting room with lots of personal touches and it’s dog friendly.
We visited in late January so didn’t get to use the outside space.
A short walk down the hill (a longer walk back up!) to the harbour, shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants.
Great communication from Nicky including recommendations for where to visit and eat.

We were very glad to be back in Dartmouth, and staying in Midships again.
The house was, of course, as comfortable as ever. We were exceptionally lucky with the weather, for the end of March, and this time we were able to sit outside on the front deck, in the late afternoon sun, when we returned from our walks. this was excellent.
The whole area really is stunning, and I continue to recommend Midships to family and friends.
We had a fabulous stay at Midships immediately after Christmas and into the New Year. The property is very comfortable and certainly had everything we needed. Nicola is very helpful and ready to answer any questions.
Dartmouth comes alive for the New Year celebrations and the fireworks were absolutely stunning with Kingswear as a beautiful backdrop. The property is situated a short walk up a hill so away from any potential noise. There are stacks of restaurants, shops, bars and pubs within walking distance.
We had a great holiday.

Mid-ships is, as everyone says, a very well presented and comfortable home in a great location, and Nicola and Warren have thought of everything.
They had even put Xmas decorations up, which added further to the atmosphere.
We had no problem parking on the road outside while we carried everything up to the house, and it was great to have an allocated parking space down the hill.
We had a wonderful time exploring Dartmouth and its environs…it’s such a beautiful part of the country, but it was always a pleasure returning to Midships for warmth, rest and relaxation.
We will be recommending this as a place to stay, and hope to return again ourselves, before too long.
Midships is a lovely holiday home conveniently located near Dartmouth centre. It is very comfortable and we had an enjoyable stay.
We had the privilege of staying at midships with our three children and dog. We had the most wonderful time, The house was lovely and in a stunning location with beautiful views, It also had everything you needed and more. The owners had thought of everything!. I have never stayed somewhere where the beds were so comfortable, We had the best night sleep we’ve had in years. There was lots to do locally And the beaches were beautiful our children had the best time. I cannot recommend enough. Thank you once again.

Few days spent at Midships, lovely place. Comfortable beds, fab decor and such a welcoming home.
My first time visiting Midships with friends and we weren’t disappointed. The house is in a perfect position to access everything that Dartmouth has to offer. There was plenty of space for us, with very comfortable beds and was equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
It was made even better by the beautiful weather during our week, which showed off Dartmouth and the surrounding area at its best. There are lots of great places to eat, with all of Nicola’s recommendations being perfect.
We had a fabulous fun week and will definitely visit again.
What you have done to make our honeymoon the best it could be is truly amazing! We are incredibly humbled and blown away by your generosity and thoughtfulness! We are only a couple of days In to our stay and we have totally fallen in love with Midships dartmouth holiday home. Will defiantly be returning ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Just returned from a wonderful week at Midships beautiful comfortable house with absolutely everything you could possibly want. Perfect hosts and wonderful location just a short stroll to Dartmouth town. Loads to see and do beautiful restaurants and quirky shops. A week wasn’t long enough.
We really enjoyed our stay at Midships. Nicola was so helpful and attentive, she made sure everything was OK and really cares that her guests have a good time. I would very much recommend Midships

As the weather was so warm it enabled us to sit outside at night on the veranda. Friendly neighbours.
A great location with a 10 minute walk into beautiful Dartmouth, lots of great restaurants and pubs/bars to frequent (Kendrick’s, Wheelhouse, The Castle Hotel, Bayards Cove Inn, The Sail Loft, 1620 to name but a few).
Lovely beaches only a short drive – Blackpool Sands & Slapton or hop of the ferry to Brixham, Paignton or Torquay.
A perfect stay for families or couples, plus it’s dog friendly! Highly recommend…..!!!
We are just back from a week away at the beautiful Midships. This property is a home from home situated in beautiful Dartmouth. The house is extremely comfortable and spacious and the kitchen is the best equipped I’ve ever stayed in. Great location to visit other places all within a 40 drive. Would definitely recommend and a great place to take your furry friends.
Just returned from a fabulous trip to Dartmouth , staying at Midships . Our 1st visit and we weren’t disappointed . The accommodation offers a great base to explore the area , it comes fully equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda taking in the sun at the end of a day with a glass of Vino . Super comfy bed and tastefully decorated dog friendly property . A short walk into town and plenty of things to do .

Had a lovely stay at midships … House was lovely and clean with beautiful original features. Beds were very comfortable and had the best nights sleep! Lovely places to eat and drink only a short walk away in Dartmouth .. lots to do in the area …. will definitely go back! 😄
This accommodation has spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, a lovely decked area to sit out on, is well equipped and has been tastefully furnished and decorated to a very high standard.
The location is a short walk down to the centre of Dartmouth but also far enough away to be really quiet at night. An ideal place to explore all that this wonderful part of the world has to offer
